The Running Fence Project — Christo

"Having packaged part of the Australian coastline and curtained off a Colorado valley, Christo constructed a "fence" across more than 24 miles of farmland in Marin and Sonoma counties in California. Running Fence, Christo says,can be described very simply : 40 kilometers of diaphanous white fabric running over the hills, emerging from the sea and disappearing into the sea again"
